Parks and Recreation

Gilroy has a wealth of open spaces, recreational areas and public parks. I am
proud of what we currently have to offer, but I believe we need more
opportunities, particularly in our Parks and Recreation Department. In these
times of focused budget cuts, It will be a challenge to continue these
healthy habits, provide safe spaces for our youth, and provide educational
and social events for children, adults and seniors. But, I will be a champion of
maintaining and improving quality of life provided by these programs of
which Gilroy is so proud.
